Privacy Policy

Collision of Tides is published by AuthorCentral.uk. This site collects the minimum personal information needed to operate reader communications, Amazon purchase handoffs, newsletter updates, anti-spam checks, analytics preferences, and consent preferences.

Information We May Collect

Form submissions may include your name, email address, selected book or format, message content, IP address, browser user agent, consent choices, and submission time.

How We Use Information

We use submitted information to reply to messages, prepare Amazon purchase links by country, maintain site security, reduce abuse, remember GDPR preferences, measure site use where analytics is approved, and prepare optional reader updates only where you approve them.

Consented Site Analytics

If you approve analytics, the site uses first-party random browser and session identifiers to understand visits without attaching the journey to your name or email address. We may record pages viewed, entry and exit pages, referring website, campaign tags, broad country, browser and device category, active reading time, scroll depth, selected links, purchase-funnel steps, form-funnel steps, and page-performance timings.

Country is derived locally from the connection address when a new session begins. The analytics journey stores the resulting country code and does not store the raw connection address. The site does not use third-party advertising pixels or cross-site tracking for this dashboard.

Cookies And Local Storage

Essential processing supports security and form handling. Optional analytics, reader preference, and marketing storage is controlled through the first-visit privacy panel and the GDPR Preferences link in the footer.

Payments

Current book purchases are completed on Amazon. This site does not collect or store card details. Amazon handles payment, checkout, delivery, Kindle access, and any Amazon account processing under Amazon's own terms and privacy notices.

Retention And Rights

Pseudonymous analytics journeys are retained for up to 180 days. Choosing Essential only asks the site to remove the analytics journey associated with the current browser identifier. Messages, Amazon handoff records, newsletter records, and consent records are retained only as long as needed for reader support, security, administration, or legal requirements. You may also request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of optional consent through the comms form.

Contact

Use the comms form for privacy requests, consent questions, or removal of a submitted message or newsletter address.
